I’ve had multiple of these but they all seem to discount and then it won’t reconnect unless I leave it unplugged for 24 hours. Then it will work for four hours before it stops working again. Idk if it’s my car or what.However I’ve tried other brands and spent over $300 and they also had that issue.This one more specifically seemed to be more laggy than any of the other ones I’ve tried.To be fair, it works. But [in my car] it's way slower than plugging the phone in, and it also relies on your phone's wifi antenna, which means GPS accuracy is significantly lower as a result.There were times in which there was zero response from commands, and most times it was sluggish.Once I went back to plugging my phone in, I realized how laggy the unit was.If keeping your phone in your pocket/bag is so important, by all means, it works as advertised. But if it's just a "nice to have" it's not worth it!Works well in my 2021 factory fitted rav4 hybrid. Great convenience. My biggest complaint is the minute or so that it takes to configure and start talking to carplay. Once up, it is faster than the cable direct and works better Too. A great solution. Added some velcro to hide it up under the top of the cubbie it lives in. Might have been better in black so it would disapear more. Cosmetic issues aside, this is cool and works well. I hope it continues to do so. Discount also helped make the decision easierVery easy installation. Work first few days. Then one time during driving audio and navigation was lagging so badly that I had to pull it off, can never reconnect to phone thereafter. Contacted customer support, though they are very responsive, tried everything they recommended but cannot resurrect the thing or even reset it. Had to return it. The thing is basically a black box with no switch, I even tried connecting it with a computer, nothing. I really doubt custmer could do anything about it if they encounter the same. Lucky I could return it. Would be stuck with it after the return period lapse, and it is so small it can't even be used as a paperweight
