Sanita Size Chart How should my clogs fit? There should be a pinky-sized gap between your heel and the back of the clog. The snuggest fit should be across the instep, and the toe box should feel roomy. For slight fit adjustments, pinch or pull the adjustable heel cup or pull the clog apart slightly by the instep. For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up. Sanita - The Original Danish Clog, handcrafted in Europe since 1907. Shop the Original When choosing your next pair of clogs, make sure you choose the original Danish clog: Sanita Handcrafted in Europe since 1907, Sanita clogs have been supporting generations of professionals. Over a century ago, Christen Meldgaard Andersen opened a shoe shop in Herning, Denmark, where he made the first pairs of Sanita clogs for local masons, farmers, and bakers. Today, we continue our strong European workwear tradition and design our clogs in our native Denmark and handcraft them in our factory in Poland. Often imitated, Sanita clogs are unmatched in support, design, and expert craftsmanship. You’ll find our clogs worn in high-end restaurants, busy hospital wards, small-town salons, kindergarten classrooms, and everywhere else in-between. Sanita remains deeply rooted in history, and maintains the same principles that went into making our first clog all those years ago: simple, ergonomic design and quality you can count on. Sanita works. Caring for your Sanita Clogs Printed/Embossed Leather Upper Use a soft dry cloth to wipe off any dirt and maintain sheen on your printed leather clogs. Patent Leather Upper Patent leather is very easy to clean - simply wipe down with soap and water or alcohol for a deeper clean. Suede Leather Upper Suede leather clogs can be cleaned with a special suede foam cleaner and horsehair brush. PU-coated Leather Uppers Polyurethane-coated leather upper clogs can be wiped down with soap and water on a soft cloth. If further cleaning is desired, the upper can also be wiped down with alcohol. The polyurethane outsole features a rocker bottom. This style is approved by the APMA and part of our Koi by Sanita Collection.

This is my third pair(my second pair of black, I have a grey pair also). They last for years & are great shoes for all day wear in the dental field.I am on my feet all day and stand up for a long time. These are great shoes for support after you break them in. These shoes are more for standing than walking. Somewhat awkward and heavy to walk/run in, but you get used to it. I have tried the Dankso's at the store, which are slightly looser and has more cushioning. These Sanita's are more form fitting plus much cheaper.I bought a size larger than my normal size (my size is a 7 and I got a size 38). The length was longer than my foot but the width was EXTREMELY tight (especially around the band), as mentioned by the other reviewers. It was more comfortable when I didn't wear socks. Even when I wore the thinnest socks, it felt too tight. The first few weeks were very painful. However, once I broke them in and stretched the shoes a little, they are much more comfortable.I wouldn't say it's like walking on mattresses. The sole is hard and doesn't have a lot of cushioning. However, the shoes have great support. I have no more back pain or foot pain. I do have some pain in my calves but that's probably because I'm standing up for so long. The shoes helps with my posture. They are also cute and I get compliments on them. They are a medium grey color. The plastic layer is thin and they get easily scuffed.Koi Sanitas are my favorite clogs! I work 12 hour shifts and these provide the perfect support for my tired feet. I read in the reviews that people thought they were too tight on the top. This is my 3rd pair of these clogs (2nd from Clog Outlet) and I have always found them to fit great. My foot isn't real small either, or narrow. In fact I would consider my feet on the wider/larger side. These feel so much better on my feet than my Dansko clogs and I prefer the heel height on the Sanitas as well. In the Koi Sanita clogs, I have always purchased the patent finish, one in white, two pairs in black. I can't believe how long they last. A year later and they will still look brand new! I haven't had any cracking or dulling ever happen on mine. I like my shoes to look brand new so I buy another pair about every 1 1/2 - 2 years. They last MUCH longer than this though. My white ones are over five years old and other than a couple scuffs they are still shiny and not broken down at all. Shoes are a hard thing to buy online, but if you know you like these....you can't beat the price here! Two day Prime shipping is just a bonus!I just love these shoes. I absolutely love the price I paid for these. Way cheaper than any store around town. The grey color matches everything I wear. The right foot fits perfectly but the left foot is a bit too small, But understandable since these are hand made. No pair ate exactly the same. I will take it in to have it stretched. I bought my last pair in 2010 and I wear them every single day and just the other day I realized the bottom soul was gone. I got my money out of them I love these because if you have bonions or any foot problems they are wide enough and once broken in they are so comfortable. I wouldn’t wear anything else. They are by far way more comfortable than Dansco’s and have a way better fit. And they are balanced better as well when I had Dansco’s I was always twisting my ankles and fell many times with Sanitas I never have that problem. I will always buy SanitasLove these! Usually don't write a review but I wanted to add that you definetly need to size up on this clog...I wear dansko clogs in a size 37 and I ordered a size 38 in these because of other reviews and they fit just like my size 37 dansko....hope this helps! Remember this clog is supposed to be loose and flip in the back it shouldn't be a snug shoe. Also you should be able to fit 2 fingers behind your heel...if your clog is uncomfortable and you notice that it either 1. Isnt loose and doesn't easily kick off 2. At least 2 fingers fit behind your heel or 3. When you walk the shoe doesn't flip with your foot...then the size is most likely too small for you...I have a pair that is too small and believe me they are super super uncomfortable!!Great support, looks sharp. The white patent upper shows scuffs quickly. Very tight across the top of the foot. Becomes uncomfortably tight as feet swell. Better for narrow feet or those without a very high in-step. Still prefer my Dansko's, but had to have white for RN school and wanted the black soles that these offer, instead of the white on white that Dansko has. This was my first time purchasing the Sanita brand for clogs. I really like them! I only state that they feel a little small because I do not have the extra pinky width space left at the heel. However, they feel fine to me. You can always use a shoe stretcher for a few days to get the extra stretch and space if needed. I did, and it works great! I wear a 7 normally and I got the size 37 and I think they fit fine. I feel like a 38 would be too big. However, I did buy the original Sanita professional clogs right after this purchase because I loved them so much and, I did notice more space in that style, so the 37 fit perfect in that case. Great clogs, comfortable and helpful for more petite people who's scrubs are a bit long (keeps them from dragging).I love the shoes and find them super comfortable. They are very versitile; you can wear with jeans and dress them up. The company is awesome and includes fit instructions. The 7 I got was just a bit too small according to instructions. Follow these to assess the fit. I also ordered the 8 and it wsa too big. I called the company for help with the fit and they informed me that these are handmade and the size can vary. I ordered another 7 and it fit perfectly. Definitely reach out to the company if you have problems with the fit.Fits well, but the top part is very firm & left bruises on the tops of my feet for the first while. Now they are well worn and fit very comfortably. I have another pair different color and they fit great from day one. I would recommend these to anyone in the medical industry as they are easy to clean and provide good support.I found them uncomfortable for the first few weeks & could only wear for a few hours each shift until I broke them in. Now, I love them but wouldn’t buy white again- toes scuff easy. The shoe itself is very nice; I love Sanita shoes & they would have been even nicer if they had sent me the right size... I now have no shoes & have missed out on the awesome deal.I bought these a size up and only wore them twice. The arch of my foot hurt so bad and I still have ongoing numbness in my toes. I hope I haven’t done permanent damage! Paid a fortune and have been trying to resell them for monthsFits on the small side otherwise exactly as advertised.
