I was not expecting these to be very comfortable since it is a flat shoe, however, I was impressed when I tried them on as to how soft and cushioned they are. Keep in mind that if you will be standing or doing a lot of walking then they will more than likely start to hurt your feet, but I purchased these to wear while playing in a band for our Christmas concert so I will be sitting.
